Description

The Orenji Hachi — Japanese for “eight orange”

The Orenji Hachi is part of the Audemars Piguet × Swatch Royal Pop collection released May 16, 2026 — a limited-run collaboration uniting AP’s Royal Oak octagonal design language with Swatch’s hand-wound SISTEM51 movement. Each piece in the collection bears a name meaning “eight” in a different language, a tribute to the eight signature screws of the Royal Oak bezel.

Movement: Hand-wound SISTEM51, 90-hour power reserve, Swiss-made by Swatch Group.
Case material: Bioceramic — Swatch’s signature plant-derived polymer composite, lighter and warmer to the touch than steel.
Case size: 40 mm.
Style: Lépine (top crown, pocket-watch heritage) — also available in Savonnette (side crown, hinged cover) variant for +$20.
Dial: safety orange with neon yellow seconds
SKU: SSX03O100N

About the Royal Pop Series

The Royal Pop is a deliberate mashup — the 1972 Gérald Genta-designed Audemars Piguet Royal Oak meets the irreverent 1980s Pop Swatch interchangeable-case format. Where the original Pop Swatch swapped plastic cases on a wrist strap, Royal Pop reimagines the format as a Bioceramic pocket watch you can convert with a lanyard or chain. Eight colorways, each named for the number eight in a different language.
